2026-7893 Reinsurance Accountant (Mid Shift)

We are looking for a Reinsurance Accountant to assume responsibility for all aspects of accounting for assigned ceded reinsurance contracts. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in reinsurance, with technical knowledge of reserving and settlement practices.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACA)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in reinsurance
• Previous experience reading and interpreting reinsurance terms and contracts
• Technical knowledge of reserving and settlement practices
• Experience with underwriting systems
• Financial reporting experience within a SOX and SEC regulated environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels
• Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion
• Fluent in English
• Exceptional analytical, documentation and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
