Job Description
Evaluates drawing specifications, sets up and operates machine tools, and inspects finished products to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3-5 years related experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of CAD/CAM experience
- Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings
- Working knowledge of Cam works, SolidWorks, HSM, Fusion or other 3D modeling software
- Familiarity with controls such as FANUC
- Knowledge of all forms of inspection equipment
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Strong understanding of metal characteristics
- Working knowledge of metal forming/fabrication
