Job Description
The Director of Special Events is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of fundraising events at Old St. Patrick's Church, including budgeting and fundraising goals, event marketing, and vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of three to five years of event planning, development or related experience.
- Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, skillful at establishing priorities, high degree of professionalism, discretion and self-motivation.
- Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Experience working with volunteers preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
