The Bilingual Part-time Administrative Assistant supports the efficient day-to-day operations of the parish office by handling a range of clerical and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred
- At least four (3) years’ experience of working in an administrative role providing direct support
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (Required)
- Cash handling experience (Preferred)
- Prior customer service experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. (Required)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Experience with computer software and Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience operating a multi-line phone system, including answering, transferring and managing multiple calls simultaneously
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team
- Must be able to read, write and speak both English and Spanish
- Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
