Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Religious Education

The Coordinator of Youth Ministry is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive Catholic youth ministry program for middle school and high school teens.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, or related field (or equivalent parish ministry experience)
• Experience working with youth and volunteers in a parish or Catholic school setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and attend retreats or conferences
• Safe Environment/Catechetical training (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in digital communication, social media, and basic office software
• Bilingual – (English and Spanish)
• Three years of parish and/or administrative office experience
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to communicate with various levels of staff and management
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays due to work an unpredictable schedule when necessary
