A substitute teacher is responsible for enabling each child to pursue their education in the absence of their regular teacher. They carry out lesson plans and meet duties as outlined in the school and Archdiocese policies.
Requirements
- Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
- Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students
- Supervise students in various settings
- Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
- Collaborates with school personnel to enhance the work environment and support academic programming
- Adheres to safety training and protocols
- Protects the confidentiality of information and adheres to the Code of Conduct
