Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient daily operations of the school office. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors while supporting the mission, values, and Catholic identity of the school through professionalism, organization, and effective communication.

Requirements

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the school principal and administrative team
• Greet visitors, students, and families in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly and courteously
• Maintain accurate records, files, and confidential documents in accordance with school policies
• Assist with student attendance, enrollment documentation, and record management
• Support scheduling, calendar coordination, and preparation for meetings and school events
• Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents as requested
• Assist with school communications, including newsletters, emails, and internal notices
• Manage office supplies and support day‐to‐day office organization
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support school operations
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with diocesan, school, and legal guidelines
• Support the Catholic mission and values of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School through respectful conduct and service
