Aide - Preschool

The Full-Time Preschool Aide supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment specifically for infants and toddlers. This position focuses on the daily care and development of our youngest learners, assisting with age-appropriate activities, supervision, feeding, diapering, and maintaining a structured yet loving classroom routine.

Requirements

• Assist with daily classroom routines, activities, and transitions
• Support the teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and faith-based activities
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, diapering/toileting, and transitions
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Provide attentive care to meet the physical and emotional needs of infants and toddlers, including feeding and comforting as needed
• Encourage positive social interactions, respectful behavior, and Christian values among students
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents as needed
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
• Uphold and model Catholic teachings in word and action
• Ensure compliance with school safety protocols and diocesan Safe Environment policies
