Assistant Director - Summer Camp

Requirements

• Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of a fun, faith-based, and age-appropriate summer camp program
• Support daily camp operations, including scheduling, activity coordination, and supervision of campers
• Help recruit, train, supervise, and support camp staff, aides, and volunteers
• Serve as a point of contact for parents and staff, communicating clearly and professionally
• Assist with monitoring camper behavior and ensuring consistent enforcement of safety guidelines and behavior expectations
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents under the direction of the Camp Director
• Help coordinate camp logistics such as schedules, field trips, supplies, and materials
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and faith-centered environment consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church
• Step into leadership responsibilities as needed in the absence of the Camp Director
