Job Description
The CGS Aide supports the certified catechist in the Catechism of the Good Shepherd program, focusing on creating a sacred and reverent atmosphere for children's spiritual work. This role involves assisting children with their work, maintaining the atrium, and facilitating a prayerful and reflective environment. Rooted in the Montessori approach and the Catholic faith, the Aide nurtures a personal relationship with God through hands-on experiences.
Requirements
- Active, practicing Catholic
- Desire to work with children in a sacred, developmentally appropriate way
- Familiarity with CGS or Montessori-based education is a plus
- Willingness to grow spiritually and professionally through training and observation
- Reliable, respectful, and able to maintain the prayerful tone of the atrium
