Job Description
The School Nurse promotes and supports the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of students and staff in a faith-based educational environment.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license as required by state regulations
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required
- Previous pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience preferred
- Knowledge of student health regulations and confidentiality requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
- Successful completion of background check and Safe Environment training
