Preschool Assistant

The Preschool Assistant supports the lead teacher in creating a Christ-centered learning environment that fosters the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional growth of young children. The assistant helps implement classroom routines, provides individualized support, and contributes to a joyful and nurturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or coursework in early childhood education preferred
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
• Familiarity with Catholic teachings and a commitment to faith-based education
• Previous experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or church setting preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Basic comfort with educational technology and classroom tools
