Teacher Assistant

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is seeking a Part-Time Teacher Assistant to assist classroom teachers in creating a positive, faith-centered, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

• Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and routines.
• Support students during lessons, small-group work, and independent tasks.
• Provide individualized assistance to students who need additional guidance or encouragement.
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times as assigned.
• Prepare classroom materials, supplies, and learning resources as directed by the teacher.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
• Uphold school policies, safety procedures, and expectations for student behavior.
• Contribute to a positive school culture that reflects the values of St. Ambrose Catholic School.
