Requirements
- Provide classroom instruction following the regular teacher’s lesson plans and curriculum guidelines.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment that reflects Catholic values.
- Uphold and support the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
- Take attendance and maintain records as required by school policy.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff to ensure learning continues in the teacher’s absence.
- Supervise students in the classroom and during breaks, recess, and lunch as needed.
- Leave notes or a summary of the day for the returning teacher, including any classroom issues or notable student behavior.
- Follow all school procedures and diocesan policies, including safety protocols and confidentiality standards.
