Mechanical Design Engineer - Propulsion Integration

Archer is an aerospace company building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design structural components and integrate propulsion systems.

Requirements

• 5-15 years of engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience integrating or designing flight critical components on primary structure
• Proficient in CAD (Solidworks, NX, etc.)
• Ability to manage CAD and complex assemblies in Team Center
• Proficient in load analysis, free body diagrams, and FEA
• Experience designing complex metallic parts and weldments
• Fluent in GD&T and creating manufacturing drawings
• Familiarity with aerospace hardware standards
• Hands-on experience in multiple technical fields, especially those related to carbon composite and metallic structures
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
