Dental Hygienist

This dental practice provides quality dental and personal care in a relaxed environment. They are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist with a strong work ethic to join their team. Candidates should be team players and experienced in following established policies and guidelines. Recent graduates are highly encouraged.

Requirements

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and fluoride application.
• Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening.
• Select and sterilize equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and plaque control.
• Document dental hygiene services.
• Take x-rays as required.
• Must have a valid license to practice in Connecticut (RDH).
