Job Description
Maintenance Technician sought to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and infrastructure used in rubber processing and production. Ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a proactive attitude toward preventive maintenance and safety.
Requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance on rubber manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in production equipment
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests to minimize production delays
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Follow plant safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Support root cause analysis for recurring maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and parts inventory
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with process specifications
- Adhere to quality and safety standards specific to the rubber manufacturing environment
