Sales Account Manager- Automotive

This position is in the Automotive Commercial group within the Arconic Global Rolled Products. The position will interact internally with application engineers, inside sales representatives, operations, and marketing. The customer(s) assigned to this position will be determined based on the overall best alignment within the team of existing account managers along with this position.

Requirements

• Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s decision-making process, utilize optimal solicitation strategies, and recommend/implement actions to obtain sales as a result.
• Secure business opportunities at optimal price levels for the Automotive Commercial Group while establishing contractual relationships as appropriate.
• Take the lead in developing and executing an overall Go-to-Market strategy for their assigned customers.
• Gain in depth insight into their customers business to provide accurate monthly forecasts for expected volume and revenue.
• Establish close relationships and linkages with all levels of their customer’s purchasing, technical, engineering program and management personnel.
• Establish close linkages with Arconic manufacturing, quality, field service and technical support teams.
