Maintenance Tech

Meyer Utility Structures is seeking a Maintenance Tech for our plant located in Steele, AL. As a Maintenance Tech, you’ll use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Use Schematics, small/power tools and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Perform high voltage electrical repairs
• Make mechanical and electronic or electrical repairs on computer – controlled equipment
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot electronically controlled production equipment
• Maintain machinery according to preventative maintenance program
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
