Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician

Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a safety-oriented Sr. Electrical Maintenance Technician to specialize in electrical maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and electrical systems within our plant.

Requirements

• Use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems
• Perform high voltage electrical repairs (e.g., controls, relays)
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot electronically controlled production equipment
• Fabricate and install new equipment and coordinate with contractors as needed
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
• Maintain documentation of maintenance services in maintenance management software
• Maintain a critical spare parts inventory
• Perform regular inspections on cranes and lifting equipment
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
