Electrician

We are seeking an Electrician to join our team at Ardagh Group. The Electrician will be responsible for performing installation, repair, maintenance, calibration, and inspection of electrical devices, equipment, and circuits in the plant. The role requires a journeyman level Electrician experience and knowledge of industrial control, lighting, and wiring.

Requirements

• Performs the installation, repair, maintenance calibration, and inspection of electrical devices, equipment, and circuits in the plant
• Receives and analyzes wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to determine electrical needs
• Repair or replace faulty motors, switches, control panels, circuit breakers, control devices, batching systems, control instrumentation, and other plant electrical and electronic equipment
• Plan and perform work on energized circuits
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit install fittings, switches, controls fixtures, and wires
• Connect all types of electrical equipment for new installations
• Plan and perform skilled soldering repairs, installation, and calibration of thermocouple and pyrometer controlled systems
