Procurement System Specialist

The Procurement System Specialist is responsible for supporting and implementing sourcing and category management initiatives, internal stakeholder engagement, and supplier relationships. The role will collaborate with regional category managers and drive the implementation of business processes to facilitate information flow between business units, project teams, suppliers, and procurement.

Requirements

• Category Strategy Implementation/Management
• Act as subject matter expert for master data and data analytics
• Support development of category benchmarks, challenge and champion continuous improvement
• Support implementing the regional pillar of the category strategy to deliver cost, cash and sustainability KPIs
• Negotiate and tenders for regional category aspects
• Ensure supply chain monitoring capabilities are developed to secure supply at the right cost and working capital
• Support regional contract management for category
• Monitor and challenge suppliers on TCO opportunities and value delivery
• Ensure proper business partnering with other relevant functions
• Actively drive and enlist business partnering support for Procurement initiatives
• Clearly articulate implications of changes in category landscape towards internal business stakeholders
• Master change management for the business unit
• Identify and report on business risk and opportunities and procurement performance
• Demonstrate engagement towards the Ardagh core values
• Install the group’s key internal controls for the region and guarantee the execution thereof
