Job Description
Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company seeking a Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance to lead product safety strategy and oversee risk management from clinical development through post-market. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with 8+ years of pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or related experience.
Requirements
- Serve as Global Safety Lead (GSL) and safety expert for assigned pharmaceutical products
- Lead the Safety Management Team (SMT) for assigned compounds and products
- Analyze and interpret safety data from various sources
- Develop strategy for and lead preparation of responses to safety-related inquiries
- Provide medical safety expertise and medical interpretation
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and ensure up-to-date representation of safety information
