Job Description
Ardent is seeking a Junior-Level Cartographer to support data creation, maintenance, and analysis in a geospatial environment. The role involves developing cartographic products, ensuring data quality, and assisting with mission-critical workflows. Requirements
- Execute feature editing, attribution, and metadata population in support of enterprise geospatial datasets.
- Assist in the acquisition and integration of raster and vector data sources, including imagery and LiDAR.
- Conduct baseline QA checks to ensure compliance with government-specified accuracy and quality standards.
- Develop standard cartographic map products and perform simple spatial analyses using ArcGIS Pro.
- Package and deliver weekly geodatabase updates.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly status reports (MSRs).
