Job Description
Ardurra is seeking a Transportation/Highway Engineer II in our Miami, FL office! The successful candidate will be involved in a range of transportation-related design projects, developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction.
Requirements
- Research, collect, and review data for transportation-related projects
- Complete technical assignments that include planning, modeling, calculations, design, detailed cost estimates, specifications, and permitting
- Assist team in preparation of plan details and outlines and perform calculations for a specific segment of a project.
- Utilize specialized computer software to assist with the analysis, design, and plan production for new transportation systems or parts of systems, such as highways, streets, and roadways
- Assist in creation and review of design drawings within defined limits
- Prepare technical reports or sections of larger reports
- Assist with plan alterations and modifications of existing streets, highways, or freeways to improve traffic flow
