Job Description
Arevon is seeking a BESS Field Technician to report directly to the project Site Manager in Poway, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating utility-scale BESS power plants, ensuring a safe work environment, and performing corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems.
Requirements
- Monitor BESS Plant operation through SCADA
- Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC BESS systems
- Supervise contractors to ensure safe and high-quality maintenance activities
- Attend and participate in training sessions
- Understand electrical safety, local and national electrical codes, and arc flash standards
- Perform testing, switching, and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high-voltage equipment
- Keep track of quality, quantity, and stock levels of materials
- Maintain work area and site housecleaning to company standards
