Job Description
As a Senior Financial Accountant at Argent Energy, you will contribute to the preparation of financial reporting, lead month-end processes, and develop automation tools to improve process and reporting efficiency. You will also be involved in the leadership and development of a junior employee. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Requirements
- Understanding of latest accounting principles and financial reporting rules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with strong capabilities within Excel
- Previous use of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Recognised accountancy qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role, contributing to month end close routines
- Experience gained in a medium to large organisation or shared service centre environment, preferably in a multi-site European structure
- Experience of managing and developing junior employees (desirable)
