Principal Software Engineer (TS/SCI) {S}

ARKA Group L.P. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (TS/SCI) to lead and mentor engineering development teams, drive continuous delivery and DevOps adoption, and define cloud-native/distributed system architecture. The role requires a strong background in software development, architecture, and leadership, with experience in cloud platforms, container orchestration, and system resilience. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated experience as a Chief Architect, Associate Chief Architect, or equivalent technical leadership role
• Strong cross-functional communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively within small, fast-paced teams
• Proven track record of leading Agile software engineering initiatives
• Experience in large-scale system design and deployments on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with leveraging cloud services for Kubernetes deployments and management
• Ability to translate in-depth system engineering analysis into actionable software development concepts and implementations
• Experience in code review processes, ensuring technical soundness and adherence to coding standards
• Demonstrated experience working on projects with geographically distributed teams
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly
