Job Description
The role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, as well as company standards and policies related to environmental and industrial safety.
Requirements
- At least 2-year college degree in occupational safety, environmental sciences, or other related discipline(s) OR at least 2+ years commensurate work experience in chemical/manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
- Experienced in managing / leading EHS programs
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Capable of effective conflict resolution
- Able to identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risk appropriately
