Job Description
The Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) Nature and History Camp is seeking temporary Summer Camp Assistant Directors to plan and lead history experiences for campers ages 6-10 or 11-14. Responsibilities include designing, planning, and leading high-quality programs in areas of skillset such as History, Nature, Music, Sports, STEM, and Art.
Requirements
- Commit to working from June 20 - August 8 (core camp dates)
- Additional weeks from August 14 – August 25 may also be available
- Training will begin in mid to late May through June
- Good character and integrity
- Effective communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to complete tasks, take initiative, and work successfully in a team environment
