Founding Software Engineer | Platform

Arlo is a startup transforming health insurance for small and medium-sized businesses. As a Founding Platform Engineer, you'll architect systems for real-time health insurance quotes, patient-facing tools, and modern internal systems. You'll work on building quoting infrastructure, financial intelligence engine, patient-facing cost transparency tools, and LLM-powered ops and outreach. You'll have high ownership, operate in a fast-moving environment, and be core to how we make healthcare radically simpler and more patient-first.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience working as a full-stack or backend engineer
• Experience in building software from the ground up
• Modeling operational workflows and translating them into software
• Autonomy and ability to break down complex problems into tasks
• Passion for working on challenging problems and solving problems in healthcare and insurance
