Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for development of manufacturing processes, maximizing efficiency, and ensuring product manufacturability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing layout, workflow, and manufacturing methods, and developing inspection criteria. The ideal candidate should have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Preferred B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years working in a Manufacturing environment
- Must be a US Citizen
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and training skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Demonstrated proficiency in Solid Works
- Must be open-minded and flexible, exhibits sensitivity, honesty and integrity
- General knowledge of weld, machining & overall manufacturing process & equipment
- Experience with interfacing with suppliers to support process development and cost reduction for new products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in working with military specifications and requirements
