Job Description
Aroostook Home Health Services is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in Aroostook County to provide rehabilitative and community support services to persons with cognitive impairments and functional limitations. This role focuses on social, behavioral, and functional skills, as well as independent living, and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. It is a non-profit organization offering home health care services since 1983.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Driverās License
- Auto Insurance
- Background Check
- Smartphone with data for Electronic Visit Verification
- First Aid/ CPR certification
- Experience working with children with disabilities (preferred)
- Ability to read, write and understand verbal/written instructions
- Comfortable working independently and organizing work efficiently
- Maturity to handle the position
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Effective communication and cooperation
