Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personal care to individuals in their homes, performing homemaking tasks essential for a healthy and safe environment. This role involves assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, and medication management, as well as engaging in activities to improve daily living. They are responsible for scheduling and reporting any incidents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification from the State of Maine as a qualified certified nursing assistant
- Registration with the State of Maine CNA Registry
- Ability to function independently and autonomously
- Knowledge and ability to carry out agency policies and procedures
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
