Vice President, Business Development - Client Role

Recruiting for a Vice President, Business Development role to drive growth and forge strategic partnerships with small businesses. Leading the efforts in driving growth and cultivating relationships with key referral partners and direct connections with high-quality business borrowers.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales leadership
• Proven record of success in fintech, commercial lending, or financial services
• Existing Rolodex of active referral sources, strategic partners, brokers, or intermediaries within the SMB lending ecosystem
• Experience leading business development efforts, building strategic partnerships, and scaling loan origination pipelines
• Deep understanding of term loans and cash flow-based financing structures
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms
