Job Description
The Production Supervisor will manage a fabrication or sub-assembly production area, overseeing safety, quality, delivery, and cost. They will direct and support hourly employees to achieve production targets and company goals.
Requirements
- Supervise, coach, and support direct reports
- Use problem-solving process to identify root causes and implement countermeasures
- Use visual management to monitor productivity and identify potential issues
- Define and recommend production objectives and standards
- Ensure prompt and cost-effective delivery of finished products
- Coordinate with other departments for quality and service
- Formulate and instill standard manufacturing practices
- Keep accurate and timely records
- Enforce safety regulations and promote safety programs
