Senior Data Scientist - Product

AoPS is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to serve as a core strategic partner to the Product team, defining metrics, designing experiments, and answering high-impact product questions. The role will uplevel product decision-making and close the gap between analytics and strategy.

Requirements

• Act as the primary data partner for the AoPS Product teams
• Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and trends in product data
• Frame ambiguous product and business problems and translate product goals into testable hypotheses, success metrics, and analytic plans
• Define, own, and evolve product metrics
• Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of product changes
• Design analytics data models and lightweight pipelines to support product analytics and reporting
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques where appropriate
• Communicate findings clearly and influence product prioritization and direction through data-backed recommendations, reports, and dashboards
