Job Description
Arta is a fintech company that uses AI and digital tools to help people lead more successful financial lives. We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer to build the backend systems for our trading platform, billing infrastructure, and real-time financial data pipelines.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, ideally in fintech, trading, or other high-reliability domains
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Proven experience working with data-intensive systems, both batch and real-time
- Hands-on experience building and scaling data pipelines and streaming systems (Kafka, Spark, Airflow, or equivalents)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, time-series databases, or similar storage systems
- Familiarity with market data feeds, order management systems, or electronic trading platforms is a plus
