Data Software Engineering Manager - Shanghai

Artefact is seeking a Data Software Engineering Manager to lead its Data & Consulting division in Shanghai. The successful candidate will manage a team of data engineers and software engineers, identify client needs, and define innovative solutions. The role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and experience in data pipeline building, ETL, and data science methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Above in Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a Software and Big Data system development
• Experience with technical team management (be capable to manage team with size of 2 -3 people above)
• Proficiency with data pipeline building, ETL, open source or traditional relational databases.
• Proficiency with analytic software programming skills
• Familiarity with Web Development (e.g. Java Spring framework) and Application Development (e.g. APP, H5, Mini Program).
• Experience with data science methods and scaling data science methods
• Analytic reasoning and complex problem solving involving mathematical programming and big data problems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, Cloud service (Ali Cloud, Azure, AWS)
• Experience with client service and project management
• Must be Fluent in English communication
