Artera is seeking a Technical Recruiter and Site Lead who thrives in two modes: as a strategic, relationship driver who excels at hiring great AI and technical talent, and as the hands-on builder of a workplace people love showing up to.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting (in-house preferred; agency background welcome if paired with in-house experience)
- Proven experience recruiting AI talent — research scientists, ML engineers, applied AI engineers, or similar — in a competitive market
- Demonstrated success hiring software engineers and technical talent broadly
- Experience with modern ATS platforms (Lever a plus)
- Daily hands-on use of AI tools to improve workflows (Claude Code or similar)
- Event planning or office/site management experience — whether formal or picked up along the way
- Comfort operating with autonomy; you don't need a playbook to get started, but you know when to ask
- Genuine interest in culture-building — you see engagement work as a craft, not a chore
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills
- Ability to be onsite in Seattle 5 days per week
