Principal AI Researcher (Brazil)

Articul8 AI is seeking a Principal AI Researcher to join their Applied Research team, focusing on advancing the capabilities of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) systems. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating novel approaches to improve GenAI models, working across the data pipeline, training methodologies, reinforcement learning, multimodal AI, personalization, and knowledge representation. The position also involves leadership, strategic decision-making, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Design and optimize data processing workflows for large-scale model training.
• Implement pre-training, mid-training, and post-training strategies and optimization techniques.
• Develop RL algorithms for GenAI and with applications in decision-making, personalization, and several other tasks.
• Create systems that effectively process and generate across text, image, audio, and video modalities.
• Design and implement tailored GenAI experiences by understanding user behavior, preferences, and contexts.
• Develop techniques for effectively representation of information and knowledge elicitation.
