Energy Analyst/Senior Energy Analyst (Market Intelligence)

Energy Analyst/Senior Energy Analyst – Market Intelligence at Ascend Analytics. Lead forecast development, provide clients with expertise in analytic modeling, and devise new approaches to represent results. Preference is given for candidates who can work in the Boulder office, but remote work is possible for a highly experienced candidate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; degrees in economics, engineering, and energy preferred
• 1+ years prior experience (3+ years of prior work experience for a Senior Analyst) in a power/electricity focused role
• Familiarly with the energy industry and contextual understanding of the structures (physical and financial) that govern it
• Strong analytical skills in analyzing and explaining complex data
• Demonstrated track record of working with clients and team
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, teamwork skills, organization and work ethic
