Job Description
LevitZacks is seeking a Tax Senior to join their growing team and take on meaningful work from day one. The role involves preparing federal and state income tax returns, communicating directly with clients, and staying current on evolving tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- CPA license or actively pursuing licensure
- 2–5 years of public accounting tax experience
- Hands-on experience preparing individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns
- Experience with multi-state filings, brokerage statements, and Schedule K-1s
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and federal and state tax rules
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and bring thoughtful solutions to the table
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating directly with clients
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
