Ascendis Pharma is a global biopharmaceutical company seeking a Director, Government Pricing to lead government pricing-related operations and reporting across the U.S. business. The role requires a deep understanding of U.S. government pricing programs and reimbursement landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, Finance, or related field) strongly preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical finance, pricing, market access, or government programs
• Deep expertise in U.S. Federal and State Pricing Programs (Medicaid, Medicare, VA/DoD, PHS/340B) and related regulations
• Expertise in GP reporting systems and tools (e.g., Revitas, ModelN, iCyte, Flex, etc.)
• Strong command of GTN forecasting, accrual methodology, and related analytics and reporting
• Prior experience interfacing with CMS, VA, and/or external auditors
• Experience with product launches and lifecycle pricing strategy in heavily contracted therapeutic areas
• Familiarity with Medicaid Supplemental Rebates and State Price Transparency Laws
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage compliance risk in a dynamic and regulated environment
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail, with a strategic mindset and ability to see the big picture
