Job Description
Ascensus Global, Inc. (AGI) is seeking a Russian Socio-Cultural Analyst to support a DoD customer in the National Capital Region (NCR). The role involves creating summaries, gists, and full translations in Russian and English, working with both hard copy and digital materials, and maintaining integrity and meaning. Prior experience in foreign language translation or translation is preferred.
Requirements
- Conduct and prepare accurate gists, translations, or transcriptions.
- Quickly scan and process large amounts of material.
- Leverage technical information systems like Word processing and data entry.
- Strong writing and speaking skills in Russian and English.
- Ability to work on group projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn software.
