Job Description
As a Staff Accountant at Ascentek, you will support the financial close process, prepare journal entries, and implement improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. This role offers opportunities for collaboration, solution-focused thinking, and contributing to the financial health of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a manufacturing environment
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
