Senior IT Project Manager

Senior IT Project Manager opportunity to join Ascot Group, a specialty risk underwriting organization, in a collaborative, inclusive, and entrepreneurial culture. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on-time, on-budget, and in-scope, working with AI-enabled tools, and adapting to evolving technology.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in project management or similar field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in delivery of large-scale IT application implementation projects
• Experience in insurance/reinsurance required; specialty insurance experience desired
• Bachelor's Degree
• Implementation experience with both off-the-shelf products and custom developed applications
• Insurance core system (Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.) implementation experience desired
• Ability to manage teams that consist of both company employees and third parties.
• Experience in outsourcing work to outside vendors to achieve deliverables
• Very strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Follow a well-structured mode of operation, including detailed project planning with the appropriate level of detail
• Proven track record in delivering program/projects on-time, on-budget, and in-scope
• Experience in managing projects in a global, matrix environment
• Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies and best practices
• Experience with different SDLC methodologies including agile and waterfall required
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
