Business Advisor (Spanish Speaker)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in business, finance, or community development
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• 2+ years of experience in small business counseling, lending, economic development, or entrepreneurship
• Hands-on experience running or supporting a small business (formal or informal)
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and community resources in NYC
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with finance/accounting principles is a plus
• Strong background in client management and customer service
• Commitment to the confidentiality of sensitive materials and information
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Experience working with low-income individuals in under-resourced communities
• Proven ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Google applications, and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word and Excel)
