Principal Natural Resources and Agriculture Specialist

Join the Asian Development Bank as a Principal Natural Resources and Agriculture Specialist and contribute to the alleviation of poverty and promotion of sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. The position involves leading the development of strategies and operations for agrifood system transformation, coordinating with development agencies, and contributing to ADB's efforts in promoting food and nutrition security.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in agriculture, agricultural economics, agricultural science, environment science, or other related fields
• At least 12 years of relevant international work experience in AFNR sector in DMCs
• Significant expertise and in-depth knowledge in agrifood value chain development, agriculture diversification, climate-smart agriculture, farm and non-farm income generation and rural job creation
• Strong analytical abilities, multidisciplinary competence, and ability to organize, lead, and manage project teams
• Proficiency in expressing ideas in both spoken and written formats in English
