Maintenance Technician

LEGENDS Global has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician at the Oak Park Ice Rink. The position will perform a variety of skilled and unskilled activities involved in the operation and maintenance of the facility’s mechanical and electrical systems and general operations.

Requirements

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems including panels, feeders, breakers, transformers, receptacles, and lighting controls.
• Assist in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of building operating systems including boilers, chillers, air handlers, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Perform basic carpentry, patch/paint, hardware installation, and minor building repairs as needed.
• Maintain tools, parts, and supplies; track inventory and restock critical items.
• Record and log all work performed, complete work orders and compile all required reports in a timely and complete manner.
• Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and miscellaneous hand and power tools.
